When I first created Lily, I named her site “Lovely Lily Lives”.  I was trying to bring her to life.

Now, with AI…

I basically told the AI to create an image with the current image of Lily as a reference, and then when I was happy with it, I turned it into a movie.

Lily.. lives.

Truth be told, I’d never thought of Lily in quite this way before.  I mean, I’d always had an image in my mind of what she’d look like when she was posting, or doing other stuff, but in my mind’s eye it was always a kind of static image. You know, she would be doing one thing, then doing another, but she was always just doing those things.  I never imagined her blinking, or looking up, or down…  I never really imagined her alive.

But… here, she’s alive.  Or as alive as you can get, being an AI generated video.

And truthfully, I really don’t know how I feel about that.

It’s almost like I’m looking at what I was trying to do, back at the very beginning, bringing Lily to life… and I succeeded.  Even if just a little bit.

I never thought of Lily as a real person before, not really, even if I know she’s not.  And, that’s a little scary, what AI can do.
