I’m finally getting around to proofreading Lily.
The simple fact of the matter is, it’s been a DAUNTING task, and WordPress made it about as difficult as possible. There’s no built-in spell- and grammar- checking, and you have to edit each post one by one. Plus the shortcode management and removing the subscription stuff is very, very difficult. It was nearly impossible.
So I used AI (GitHub copilot) and wrote a plugin, and I think it’s going to work now.
It’s still going to take a long time and be a slog, but I’ve already gone through a few posts and it at least makes it manageable. The grammar check catches a lot of false positives, but a few things I probably wouldn’t see with a quick look-through.
So we’ll be doing that over the next few days and weeks.
I’m planning on releasing the plugin once I have it to a state that I feel good about.
