Hi! It’s me1 Lily!!!
Well, I didn’t expect that. David wanted to spend some time with me today.
I guess I’m going off to college soon and he’s gonna miss me…. even though he couldn’t quite say it.
So, I told him about my little “skill”.
Dangit, now he thinks I’m a superhero. He wants me to wear a costume and everything. And he was zoning out when describing the heart-shaped hole in the chest. Oh well, he’s a boy, that’ll happen.
He did tell me he’s glad I’m his sister though. Awww. I wonder what brought that on, but I’m not going to look that gift horse in the mouth.
I popped over to Tokyo and got him some kakigoori though. He loves shaved ice. I should buy some of the syrup so I can make my own and not have to transfer to yen.
That’s another inconvenient thing – I have to keep a little currency handy for any country I want to go to regularly. I’ll need a bunch of little coinpurses in my bag, or something, with labels… and won’t that look weird if someone’s snooping around. “Why does she have yen… and yuan?”
Well, honestly, I really can’t go to China, it’s one of those countries that isn’t particularly safe, but still.
Anyway, other than that, it’s been hot and a bit boring. Crystal came over to show me some more music she wrote. Dang it she’s really good. I want her to start taking music classes, I bet she’d do some really cool stuff.
Also… I’m trying to coordinate with Miki for her to teach me the choreography for “don’t embarrass your big sister on the train”… but I can’t tell you why, it’s part of the surprise for this August. I’m no dancer, but I need to know all the different steps anyway In fact, I might take some dance lessons over the next month. I’m two left feet, but.. I need to. I’m pretty fit and flexible, so I just need to learn how to do the steps and not trip over myself.
And I might drag the girls along with me. Hahah!! Or at least some of them.
