Hi! It’s me! Lily!!!
I had a birthday!!!
I’m 20!!!
So I thought that deserved a post.
In Japan when you’re 20 you can drink! So Yuki and Asuka and all the others took me out drinking. I mean, Ai, the Aidols, most (but not all) of the After School Friends Idol Light Music Club, and a few others too. We painted the town red!!!
Well… THEY painted the town red. The Boss was very clear. I get two drinks. No more.
Apparently Popping while intoxicated is a thing, and not a very good thing either. He told me in quite lurid detail what happens if you start popping around while drunk and then forget you can pop… or forget your clothes… or… yeah. So I didn’t.
Not everyone in the group was old enough, but most were, and, well… don’t get in the way of Japanese and their alcohol. I’m lucky in that most of my friends save it for special occasions, but….
Yeah. Yuki tried to kiss me. Asuka tried to kiss Yuki. Ai tried drunken karaoke. Half the idol group started to do that until someone reminded them that they were idols and having videos of drunken idols trying to do karaoke would cause a minor scandal, so they just went all drunken senpai and started wobbling all over. I had to stop a couple from kissing each other in public. Sigh. I love my friends and sisters, but I don’t like them when they’re drunk. Way too much Yuri.
A couple did pat my head though. I let them. It’s how they show affection sometimes.
Anyway, I tried sake, which I didn’t much like, and I tried something a little sweeter, which I did like. Did you know they make chocolate liquor? It’s only a treat… because, yeah. I got a little tipsy, but the boss said I was okay… but no more.
And I had a bit of a hangover the next day… I don’t want those again either.
Boss said I don’t handle alcohol well. Yeah… no kidding.
Anyway… I did pop over to Texas too because they all wanted to have a birthday party for me. It was fun. Chocolate themed. Well, I guess if you know me, what else could it be? They had a chocolate fountain and one of those chocolate monstrosities that the baker makes that give you diabetes just looking at it, and they even had a chocolatier make something out of chocolate that looked like something else and made me find out what it was. I was chewing on flowers and bowls and all sorts of stuff! I finally figured it out, though. It was the pendant on a necklace Crystal was wearing.
I KNOW they did that on purpose. Hahah!!!
It’s okay. It was fun. And better than truth or dare.
Anyway, I’m 20 now. It doesn’t feel much different from 19. Or 18. Or even 14 in some ways, to be honest. I’m still just Lily.
I’ll keep checking in every now and then!
