And I love Fridays!!!!!

Love them a lot!!!

Almost as much as Jack!  But I love Jack more!!!

I’m over at Liz’s tonight, and the girls are with Beth.  Who knows what they’re doing?  They can get silly.  MAybe Diana’s making her famous tacos!

It’s supposed to storm tonight.  But Liz and I are chatting and eating chocolate and everything’s fine.  She ordered a pizza and we pigged out and ate chocolate and drank some Chinese soda which was really good.  I tried introducing her to Ramune but she couldn’t figure out how to get it open.  She’s smart but not that smart!

So anyway, pretty boring day actually.  Nothing really big going on, just the usual.  Maybe this weekend I’ll make some more videos!!!  I don’t know though.  I’m pretty busy most of the time, what with practicing and all that.  But we’ll see!  Beth might teach me a few tricks!~

Okay, Liz wants to go to bed.  I’m sleepy too.

Hi! It’s me! Lily!

And it’s Thursday!

… not that that really means anything.  But it’s Friday lite!  That’s what Dave likes to say!  Friday eve! Haha!!!

It was another boringly boring day.  Nothing huge going on.  Classes, eating, you know… the usual.

Jack made me blush!  Remember what I said about my right floppy bit having reservations about him?  Boy said he’d try to win her over!

Haha!!! …  Awww.  Remember what happened last time…

Okay… ummm…  otherwise, quiet.  I told Emiko and Liz about the private jet, and they were amazed!  Of course they’re taking him up on it!  What better way to fly a twelve hour flight?  Robert seemed a little proud, he gets to show off a little.  Well, he can show off all he wants, if we can fly to Japan in style!!!

David’s starting to get a little excited, he wants to see Akihabara!

I guess he’s growing up.

Well, two girlfriends does that to you.  Hahah!!!

Well, he has one girlfriend now.  The other one’s parents found out.  I think I mentioned that.  Little player..

Okay!  Marie wants to go out before bed…  oh.  We need to figure out what to do with Marie and Cat when we all go to Japan!  Maybe Allison would like a playmate for Milo!!!

Hi! It’s me! Lily!

And I’m shocked!

I don’t usually get shocked, but I’m shocked!!!

So remember how I joked that we might need to charter a plane to Japan?

Well…

So with my family and Emiko’s family, that’s, umm…  one two.. .haha!  Nine people.  Five of us, four of them.  And then add in Robert’s family, that’s three more.  Twelve…  and then Rebecca’s friends, that’s four more… Kari, Britni, Chelsi, and Yu.  That’s sixteen people.  And of course Liz wants to come too, so seventeen.  So as it turns out, Robert has access to a company plane!

Now, we still have to pay for its use.  It’s not like we get a free flight.  But he’s worked it out so that we only have to pay what we’d pay a commercial airline!  He said that he’ll meet up with some clients in Japan so it’s legit and everything.  I guess he’s past due for a trip there anyway.

So we get to take a private charter plane to Japan!

Wow!!!!

He can also book hotels through his company.  We have to pay for them, but he gets a group rate, and, well… we get to stay at a really nice hotel!!!

That’s so cool!!!

I’m not upset at all about paying for it.  I mean, paying commercial rates for a charter plane?  Can’t beat that!

I wonder if it’ll be a dedicated commercial plane or something nicer?

Well, we’ll find out.

Sometimes I don’t feel lucky, and sometimes…

In other news, I finally memorized the entire concerto!  It’s really hard, but I got it!  I played it all the way through today!  That last part is awful!  So many notes!  I wish… I wish I remembered learning.  It feels so weird to just be able to play something so complicated.  But it’s fun too.  Not a moment too soon, I meet the conductor next week to go through it.  He’ll work with me a bit and then I’ll rehearse with the orchestra!

I hope the conductor realizes I’m inexperienced too.  It’s not like he’s getting some concert pianist like Martha Argerich or some such.  He’s just getting lil’ awkward teenage me.  But then, it’s a high school orchestra, I guess we’re all awkward and teenage.

I had an idea today!  But I’m not telling yet!!!

Oh and Allison loved her presents!  Yay!!!  I didn’t really get a chance to go see her for her birthday but I made sure she got her presents!!!

Hi! It’s me! Lily!!!

So I didn’t post last night.  I didn’t mention it, but Jack and I were going to go on a date Saturday night, but that didn’t work out.  I guess he had a family thing or something,  His parents are being a little more strict about that kind of thing – family first, date second.  I guess I can understand that.  But last night we were finally able to go out, and we had a long talk.

A really long talk.

I don’t know if anything was actually settled, but the talk is important.

We talked about our future together.

After the kind of, er scare I had, it seems like a really important thing to talk about.  Am I serious about him?  Is he serious about me?  What would happen if I were to actually, well, you know?  Would he run away like Katie’s ex did?  How would he support us?  How would he keep Sabby from killing both of us?

Hahah… but I’m only half kidding, honestly.  She might maim, anyway.

So anyway, we talked for way longer than we should – I got home too late.  Sabby wasn’t happy but when I told her what we were doing she was okay with it.  He says the same with his parent.s  We didn’t get any, ummm.. “alone” time but I think that was a good thing this time.

I’m not going to say exactly what we all said, but I think it had a good outcome.  We understand each other a little better now.  I don’t think he’d leave me.  But he knows as well as I do how difficult it would be, so…  we understand each other.

I really do think I lucked out with him.

But we’re both seventeen now, we’re nearly adults… it’s not just teenagers romping around anymore, is it?  We have a future to think about.

We talked about marriage, too, someday.  Not on my 18th birthday – Sabby would kill me – but not wasting a huge amount of time either.  Honestly, with the business, I could probably support us, but that’s not how Jack wants to do it, and I guess I understand.  He doesn’t really know what he wants to do for a career either, and, well, it’s probably a good time to decide.  I don’t really know for myself, either.  Maybe be a businesswoman, but….  I don’t know.

And with all the economic stuff going on right now that Dave’s worried about… who knows what the future holds.

But I can’t imagine a future without him in it.

And maybe that’s what love’s all about after all.

I love you, Jack.  ❤ With all my heart, and my left floppy bit too.  Haha!!!  My right one has reservations, but she’ll come around eventually.

Hi! It’s me! Lily!!!

Beth made a YouTube today!!!

I put it on my channel so you all can find it!!! She wanted to make something fun and educational at the same time!  I think she did a good job!  She wrote the script and did the animations and everything!

… she’s better at that than I am.

Aww.

Anyway, I thought she did a good job!!!

So anyway, this morning we went to church, and you know, stand up, sit down, sing, listen, sing more, and eat chocolate pancakes.  Then after that, it was a nice day – if a little humid, so Dave grilled!!! I love it when Dave grills!!!  It’s one of my favorite things, other than chocolate!!!

But other than that it was a pretty quiet day.  Allison’s tenth birthday is tomorrow, I’m not sure what they have planned, but I have something for her!!!  I hope she likes it!!!

It was a quiet Sunday, I guess.  Other than all that, I just practiced a lot.  I mean, really, a lot.  But I made some pretty good progress on the third movement.  A lot of notes.  Aww.  And some of them are pretty hard!

David stayed up way too late with his new console and fell asleep in church!  Hahah!  The pastor said something loud and he jumped and made noise!  Everyone looked at him!  Haha!!!

But now it’s time for bed.  Aww.

Hi! It’s me! Lily!

I’ve been working on this site!  And I found a picture of the family!  I don’t think I’ve ever posted a picture of Beth before!!!

Didn’t I tell you she was pretty?  She likes to wear fashionable clothing, though around the house she tends to just be comfortable.  Liz is on the right.  She likes to dress pretty too, but not quite as…  provocative as Beth does.  But neither of them can hold a candle to cat-girl, though.  Maybe someday I’ll post a picture of her too!!!  Sabby’s whapping David upside the head for ruining the picture by wiping his nose.  Haha!!

I have much, much more work to do though.  We’re at 317,000 words now, and…  that’s a lot of words.  I think it’d be very intimidating to a beginning reader.  So I have to find some way around that.  My tech friend suggested I train an AI with my diary and then people can chat with me!  It sounds like a great idea!!!

It also sounds like a really complicated idea.

My tech friend is really good with this stuff and even he said he hasn’t the slightest idea how to do that!!!

It stormed a lot last night, but today was pretty quiet!!!  Liz was a little scared, but the storms weren’t severe, so she just shook a little, then sighed with contentment as the girl-pile formed around her, and then she slept pretty soundly.  I’m glad we can do that for her.

Today was also David’s birthday!  He got lots of games and a new console!  Couple that with lots of pizza and some of his friends coming over (even Allison) he had a pretty good birthday!  He’s holed up in his room now playing games.  He gets an exception to curfew tonight!

Hi! It’s me! Lily!

And it’s Friday!!!

Yaaaayyyy!!!!

Ummm…  I guess.

All the girls are over tonight.  We’re going to do a girl-pile, just like old times!!! It’s been a while.  It’s been either me over at Liz’s, or Beth over somewhere, or no one over anywhere…  so tonight we have pizza and soda and lots and lots of chocolate (of course!) and movies and games.. and I think Sabby’s going nuts with all the giggling and squealing!!!  But… girls will be girls.  I wouldn’t have it any other way.  And I think if she were being honest, neither would she.

I wonder if David holes up in his room with his games sometimes just for self-preservation.

He still hangs out with Little Miss Priss’s brother, but not very often.  They live a bit far away and they’re not best friends, just have a shared interest in games.  But I guess shared interests are important.

I played through the first and second movements of my concerto though, for everyone!  I even set up a video call for Rebecca and her friends!  Everyone was really impressed.  Yu plays violin, like Liz does, but she thought I was pretty good.  Chelsi and Britni, well..  Chelsi thought it was pretty cool, and Britni… well, I think she wondered where Beyonce was.  Still sweetest girl ever, though.  Kari just had a bunch of technical questions I couldn’t answer, but Beth piped up and they had like an hour chat just about music theory.  Way over my head, but I’m glad everyone’s getting along.

I actually wonder how Britni and Kari ended up in the same friend group, but hey.

Some maybe strong storms are coming, but it’ll be fine.  We’ll all be in a pile and we’ll make sure Liz is at the bottom of the pile where everything’s safe and warm.

I really do think she appreciates that.  I’m not really scared by most storms… but they are flashy and loud and boomy, so…  I guess I understand.

Oh…  we’re making all the travel arrangements to Japan now!!!  But there’s so many more people now, it’s gotten pretty complicated!  There’s all of us, Emiko and her family, Robert and his family, and her friends want to tag along too (everyone’s paying their own way because dang it, they’re rich!)  That’s like seventeen people!!! If this keeps up it might be cheaper just to charter our own plane!  Haha!!!

Hi! It’s me! Lily!!!

David’s birthday is on Saturday, Allison’s is on Monday…  so there’ll be a lot of parties and hopefully a lot of chocolate.

But it’s their birthday so if they don’t want chocolate, well…  Aww.

I don’t have a whole lot to talk about tonight.  It was another somewhat boring day.  Practice a lot, go to classes, dodge karens… you know, the usual.  My grounding ends this weekend, yay.  It wasn’t too bad, though.  All that really happened was I didn’t get to go to the mall.  Big whoop.  Oh and see Jack, though I did on Grace’s birthday.  We’re still talking, though, so there’s that.  We might go on a date Saturday night, though…  we need to have a big talk.

Sigh.  I hate big talks.  I’d rather just have his arms.

Anyway…  ummm…

Not much else.  Lots of rain this weekend.  Just in time for David’s party.

Hi! It’s me! Lily!

And it’s boringly boring today, too!!!

It didn’t even rain!  Though they’re saying we should fix that this weekend.  So much rain…

But as I keep saying, we need the rain.  Rain is good.  Especially in central Texas.

I put Allison’s birthday present together today!  Plus I got David’s too.  Sabby let me go to the mall to get what I needed.  I guess family is more important than grounding.  I think she’ll like it – and you know David’s really easy to please.  Yeah, you can probably guess what I got him.

So I spent today going to class and practicing.  Pretty much nothing else.  That’s not too hard a piece, but it has its moments!  I’ve pretty much got the first movement down, now I’m working on the third!  All those notes!  Especially at the end!!!  Sometimes Sabby just watches me play, shakes her head, and walks off.  I asked her what she’s thinking, and she said it just seems to come so easy to me.  She’s always wanted to play, and never was any good at it.

I told her I play piano, and she makes cookies.  She’s like the Mozart of cookies.

That seemed to make her feel better.

But the thing is, I don’t know if it comes easy to me.  Maybe I practiced for hours and hours since I was three and just don’t remember it!  So…  maybe that’s not fair.  But… maybe it is.  I don’t know.

My teacher told me to have an encore ready too, just in case.  So I’ll just do a Beethoven Sonata or something.  Pfft.  I’ll just do a Beethoven sonata.  Some people really struggle with those.

I’m tired.  And I’m starting to practice in my sleep.  Aww.

Marie and Cat are funny, though.  When I practice, they come around and sit next to the piano and just listen.  It’s the cutest thing.

Anyway, speaking of which, gotta go to bed.  Marie’s whining.

Hi! It’s me! Lily!!!

And today was boringly boring.

But I’d rather have boringly boring, I think.  The past few days haven’t been all that fun.

So the car’s all put back together now and Dave’s driving it around to break the engine in and let the rings seat.  So that’s good.  I didn’t screw it up as far as I know.  Dave said it would have been cheaper to just buy a crate engine and put it in, but then I wouldn’t have learned anything.  He’s right.  I guess education does cost, right?  It always costs something, either money, or time…

The business has been going pretty well, though I haven’t been around much.  The two bakers are really killing it!  One has been doing baked goods, the other has been doing lunch items like gourmet sandwiches, that kinda thing.  We’re transitioning from just a cookie shop to a cookie and lunch shop, and people have been coming in at lunch and even dinner time to pick up a quick, healthy, but really tasty snack.  It’s really working out!

And,, of course, cat-girl is, well, being cat-girl.  We keep having to reign her in from being too revealing or.. other things.  I forget if I mentioned it, but we caught her in back with a customer she thought was “cute”.  She’s lucky she didn’t get fired for that.  After she pulled everything back on, Sabby took her into the back office and had a “come-to-Jesus”, as she puts it, with her.  One more thing like that and she’s out, and she’s really lucky she got that second chance… but truthfully, she makes us way too much money.  We’re keeping her if we can, but she sure doesn’t make it easy sometimes.

Thankfully anime-girl and skintight-girl are getting almost as popular.  Hiring some mini-cat-girls was a really good idea.

The thing is, she doesn’t really mean to cause trouble.  She’s not an awful person, or mean, in fact, she’s usually pretty happy and cheerful, and customers love her (especially that one) – and she’s pretty smart.  She just… loves using her body and has zero impulse control.

Katie’s really starting to show now.  In lieu of pregnancy leave, she’s got carte blanche to eat whatever she wants, and…  well…  she sure is.  Remember how I always say chocolate fixes everything?  Well, fixes cravings too, apparently.

Things are humming along, I guess, and that’s good.  I should be more involved, but classes and, well, drama is a bit more important.  Plus I have a lot of practicing do to.  It’s a hard piece!!!  I’ve been spending a couple of hours a day trying to get it right.  I’ve almost got the first movement down.  That ending!!!

Okay…  I should sleep now.
